Chrome Rosacea Treatments in NYC

What is Chrome?

Chrome uses advanced laser technology to target a variety of skin conditions using two different wavelengths: 1064nm and 532 nm. This allows the area to be treated at different levels for the best result and little to no downtime.
This device also has pre-programmed skin applications including NaturaPeel, Refresh, Décolleté, Revivo and Define. They are designed to deliver targeted treatments to meet the patient’s goals dependent upon area and concern.

Am I an ideal candidate?

The ideal candidate for Chrome is looking for improvement in fine lines/wrinkles, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, uneven texture, or overall skin resurfacing. Chrome is suitable for most skin types, even sensitive; however, a thorough consultation will be performed to choose the most appropriate settings for you.

Your consultation

An evaluation of your skin type will be performed during your initial consultation, along with a physical examination of your concerns and target areas. There will be a discussion of your goals, which will help to determine the best treatment plan.

What are the benefits of Chrome?

Since Chrome has two laser wavelengths, treatments can be fully customized to meet your skin needs and goals, while targeting the specific area and different depths. The convenience of pre-programmed skin applications allows for ease of treatment and all result in minimal to no downtime.
From a mild laser facial to deeper skin resurfacing, Chrome laser has settings that can target almost any skin concern.

What is the procedure?

This procedure is painless and simple, taking around 15-45 minutes depending on the settings we use. We recommend that patients avoid the sun for 1 week prior to treatment. The treatment area will be cleansed and then treated with the customized plan we create for you.

What is the recovery like?

Patients can expect mild redness for 24 hours after treatment, although many experience no redness at all. We recommend avoiding the sun for 1-2 weeks after treatment and advise patients to apply adequate SPF and sun coverage. Regular moisturizers and makeup can be applied immediately after treatment.
