Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Rothaus has mastered many treatments and surgical techniques to help his patients. He specializes in minimally invasive procedures, advanced laser and radiofrequency technology, and the full spectrum of injectables to help patients who do not require or are not candidates for surgery. Non-surgical treatments and fillers can help patients look more vibrant and youthful. Dr. Rothaus uses many FDA-approved procedures such as laser skin tightening, ThermiTight®, SmartXide DOT® CO2 laser, SlimLipo™, Palomar Icon by Cynosure® Lux 1540 fractional resurfacing, EndyMed, Pellevé, Spectra™, SculpSure®, Botox®, Juvedérm®, Juvedérm® Voluma, Sculptra®, among others.
Dr. Rothaus has extensive experience in a number of surgical procedures that help patients to achieve the best results possible and are ready for surgery to reduce the signs of aging and the changes that come with pregnancy or massive weight loss. He offers, for example, Harmonic facelifts, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation surgery, breast lift and breast reduction surgery, as well as body contouring including abdominoplasty, liposuction, thigh lifts and minimal incision brachioplasty butt augmentation, and lower body lift treatments.
Education and Training
Dr. Kenneth Rothaus is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He graduated with honors from both Yale College and Harvard Medical School having excelled in both the classroom and clinical rotations as well as the research laboratory. Dr. Rothaus trained during his surgical internship and residency at the prestigious New York Presbyterian Columbia Medical Center. He followed that with his residency in plastic surgery at the New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center, to which he returned as an attending staff and faculty member after completing a microsurgical fellowship.
Appearances and Contributions
As a physician, surgeon, educator and researcher, Dr. Rothaus has made and continues to make a substantial contribution to medical knowledge. He has written and presented numerous scientific papers, book chapters, and articles on various topics in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery and aesthetic laser surgery. His work includes numerous clinical trials of laser and other nonsurgical procedures. Dr. Rothaus has served as the chair of professional courses and committees. He has received patents for research from his laboratory. Dr. Rothaus has appeared on several television and radio programs, including The View and Good Morning America. In addition, Dr. Rothaus appeared on the Dr. Oz Show featuring, “Age Erasers.” His other print and TV media appearances include Vogue, Men’s Fitness, The New York Times, Harper’s Bazaar and GQ. Dr. Rothaus has extensive experience in facelift and brow lift surgery, and offers surgical facial rejuvenation for patients who are ready for surgery to reduce the signs of aging.
