WHAT IS PHYSIQ?
Physiq is an FDA approved device for both body contouring and muscle toning. Physiq’s unique combination of 850 nm diode laser and EMS (electromagnetic sitmulation) allows simultaneous treatment of fat and muscle.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PHYSIQ?
Competing devices such as CoolSculpt and EmSculpt can treat fat or muscle but not both. Physiq is only device that treats fat and muscle in the same session. Physiq’s handpieces are larger than the competing laser devices, thus, treating more area with each treatment. Physiq gets results and saves the patient time and money.
WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE?
Depending on the area to be treated, Dr. Rothaus and/or his assistants will select between 2 to 4 large, flat handpieces. A proprietary, disposable silicone pad is placed on the handpiece. This single use protective silicone pad is then placed on your skin over the area to be treated. The procedure takes between 15-30 minutes depending on the area to be treated. The average series is 5 sessions – one every two weeks.
WHAT IS THE RECOVERY LIKE?
There is no real recovery. You might expect your skin to be slightly pink for a matter of hours afterwards. After the procedure, the specially formulated Physiq moisturizer will be applied to your skin. You will be provided with an additional supply of the moisturizer to use as needed.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Dr. Rothaus tailors each Physiq treatment to the patient’s needs, so the cost does vary depending on the areas to be treated, the number of handpieces used and the number of sessions needed.
