New York Face Lift

Facelift, or rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure that can improve upon the more obvious signs of aging in one’s facial appearance. This procedure can restore youthfulness to one’s face, making them look years younger. There are various types of face lifts procedures available to patients. These include:

• The standard facelift,
• The face lift with tightening of the muscles (platysma) and or fascia (SMAS or submuscular aponeurotic system) of the face and neck,

Most of these facelift procedures can be performed as an out-patient under a local anesthesia with sedation by a board certified anesthesiologist. Patients are usually able to return to work within one week after all the procedures, with the exception of the deep plane and subperiosteal procedures.
